COVID-19 Testing News

Testing for coronavirus is becoming more widespread and accessible for people in the UK who are experiencing symptoms. Employers can also carry out testing in the workplace by purchasing testing equipment from an accredited scientific company.

There are generally two types of coronavirus test available. Antibody testing uses a finger-prick blood sample and can generate a positive or negative result in around 15 minutes. It can identify a current, ongoing infection, or a previous infection where antibodies are present. A PCR test involves swabbing the back of the throat and/or nose. The samples must be returned to a laboratory for testing.

We've listed some resources below that will help you locate a suitable testing company.
